Dear Teg,

There have been so many goodbyes lately; I had the goodbye party of Fleur this week, and saw Sanna yesterday for the last time in 5 months. Everyone is going on exchange, and even though I’m so exited for everyone, it is also hard saying bye to most of your friends. The next couple of months will consist of ton of FaceTime calls, and voice memos, also between us. Are you ready to go to Exeter?

Before you leave I wanted to share one of my best tips for when you go to England. When I was having one of my YouTube binges I discovered the foundation of the brand The Ordinary. Allegedly it is one of the best cheap foundations, and when I was looking for it online I stumbled upon a true skin care gem.

The Ordinary is a beauty brand from Canada, that is proud of their integrity, and is cruelty free. And best of all, it is all incredibly affordable. Having bought a few of their items, and them being delivered to my doorstep without shipping costs, I am so exited to tell you about them.

Coverage and Serum Foundation – 6,90 & 6,70 euros

My discovery started with this foundation that came highly recommended by many YouTubers. According to the website these foundations are vegan, almost everything free, and they are made in Canada. You can choose either serum, lightweight foundation, or high-coverage foundation. They have a wide shade range that is divided in three groups. Within the groups you can choose your undertone and I chose the ones with golden highlights in them (yes, they have that). My shades were 2.0YG for when I’m slightly tan, and 1.2YG for in the winter. I have only tried the serum one so far and it has a¬† beautiful, natural, dewy finish, that you don’t feel on your skin throughout the day. Sanna has tried it as well, and wanted to buy it immediately. It is one of the nicest foundations that I have ever tried, and that for an amazing price.

High-Adherence Silicone Primer – 4,90 euros

I’m not a primer expert, since this was the first primer I ever used. But what I can say, is that I worked out with a full face of makeup (I don’t think you’re supposed to do that), and afterwards it was still pretty flawless.

Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA – 5,80 euros

This moisturizer feels so nice on my skin. It is so light, that you don’t feel it at all. I use it twice everyday, and my skin has been looking really good.

Argan Oil – 6,80 euros

When I was in Marroco I saw how Argan Oil was being made, we bought some bottles straight from the source, but this was very expensive. This pure Argan Oil is way cheaper, and has a great amount of benefits for your skin and hair. It is being said that Argan Oil is so beneficial for your skin because it doesn’t clog your pores, and therefore helps treating acne instead of making it worse. I have tried to use it twice a day, but I found that using it in the morning makes my makeup brushes greasy, and I just didn’t like the feel of oil on my skin. Using it at night however, leaves my skin looking beautifully in the morning. I tried using it as a hair mask, but I wasn’t the biggest fan of this. The smell is not amazing, but the site says that this is the natural smell, which is totally fine when you use it at night.

Now you might wonder why I wanted to recommend it to you before you left for England. In Covent Garden, London, the umbrella Brand of The Ordinary has just opened a flagship store. So if you get the chance, you can stock up on beauty products here! For our friends in Sidney (hey girls!) they also have a store on George Street.

My products were shipped two days after I ordered them, and arrived four days later. I’m super exited about these products and will definitely order more now that I know that it is a reliable brand. They have so many more cool things to try out.

Let me know if you get the chance to pick up any of their products!
