Hey girls!

Today is a very festive day, and festive days always ask for festive cakes. This cake is relatively easy to make, but it looks like you put a lot of effort into it. I have tried to make it as simple as possible by using a lot of ready made products, that you can just buy at the supermarket. Usually I make everything myself, but easter get-togethers can be stressful enough as it is. The best thing about this cake is that once you get the hang of it, you can make it for all kinds of occasions, and just use different decorations. Enjoy!

Step 1:

Follow the directions of the box on how to make the cake mixture. For me this meant mixing in eggs, and butter.

Step 2:

Devide the mix between 4 bowls and add a different kind of food colouring to each bowl. You can also create your own colours by combining different ones.

Step 3:

Put your different colours of cake batter into separate baking trays, preferably of the same size. If you don’t have multiple ones, you can just put the baking tray in the oven multiple times with different types of cake batter.
Put the cakes in the oven at 150 degrees celsius, for 30 minutes.

Step 4:

Take all the trays out of the oven, and let them cool of for a little bit.
After that, put the icing in between the cakes, and layer them on top of each other.
Furthermore, ice the top and the sides of the cake.

Step 5:

Drape the white fondant over your cake, cut the edges, and decorate it appropriately for the occasion.

Cut your cake open to see how beautiful it looks on the inside, and treat your guests to a delicious slice.
