Teg, I loved seeing you at my birthday. The gift you gave me was truly incredible. I will definitely feature it on the blog soon. Saar, thanks for your congratulations, and I hope we get a chance to celebrate together soon.

So much has happened since I last spoke to you. My birthday was amazing, it felt like it was a three day party. On tuesday my pizza squad came over. The pizza squad is a group of guys and I who started baking pizzas together in high school. Since then, two more people have joined, namely my two best girl friends. All the boys gave me a juicer together. They came up with it all by themselves, and I thought it was the sweetest thing ever. We baked pizza in honor of my birthday, and toasted when it was twelve o’clock. On wednesday it was my actual birthday, and of course, like always, I was stressing over all the preparation. I HAD to have a pig cake for my birthday, and wanted to bake it myself. Luckily I was able to pull it off, and when my friends arrived everything was ready. We ate pizza (again), and sushi, and spent all evening talking. At 12 my bestie Fleur turned 20 as well, and it was really nice to start her birthday off with her. Thursday, it was Kingsday. Sammy, Sjue, Fleur, and I went to the Kralingse bos festival, and it was great. There were multiple stages, and I actually really enjoyed the music. We ate fries, and when only me and Fleur were left, also Churros. We saw a lot of artists, like the “Jeugd van Tegenwoordig,” and “F1rstman.” It was really nice running into a lot of my friends, and partying with them.

Friday and Saturday were also super busy. As I said before, I am organizing a fashion show together with the other girls of the New Fashion Society events team, and Friday and Saturday we did the model casting. So many beautiful people showed up, and it will be very hard to decide who will walk the fashion show. I actually love doing it, because I can spent time with my friends, while at the same time meet a lot of new, enthusiastic people.

Sunday, Fleur, and I took a walk at the Kralingse bos and did this photo shoot. Afterwards we cooked this recipe, and it tasted truly amazing. It was a miracle it turned out so well, because while I was doing groceries one of the people who worked at the supermarket gave me a compliment about this outfit, and I got so shy I didn’t dare to go back to the vegetable section anymore, and forgot to buy the potatoes.

I hope this outfit gives you some summer vibes, and we’ll talk soon!

P.S. Sorry this post is so long, but I hope it will provide some entertainment for my girls doing internships, who need to pass time. Much love and respect for them!
