Yesterday I had such a nice day with my family. I feel so lucky to have people in my life who are not only family, but who I also genuinely like to hang out with. We decided to make a trip to the Market Hall, one of the most well-known places in Rotterdam.
I don’t know why, but I always have such a warm feeling associated with this place. I’ve had a first date here, ate food (my favorite activity) and shopped (my second favorite activity?) here, maybe that’s why I like it so much. We started off with buying some fruits. My favorite fruits are passion fruit and lychee (I know, when it comes to fruit I’m definitely not basic), so we bought some of those. Then we visited the Asian Supermarket, which is one of my favorites. I love trying foods from different cultures. We also bought some spices at the Moroccan spices stand. Lately I’m so into cooking, and mixing spices.
All that shopping made us hungry, so we sat down at BasQ. They serve tapas, and since we all started to love tapas after we went to Spain, we thought we would like this place. The food tasted so great, and it is always nice to eat with family. Everyone is just so funny and nice to be around. All in all, it was such a nice day again, and I’m so happy to experience days like these.
How’s Exeter treating you? I’m beyond curious!
